In order to make the "most beautiful days of the year" a real pleasure and to make you feel at home quickly, we would like to give you some information about our hotel facility below.

FAQ

Laundry Service

You can put your laundry into the laundry bag, which you find in your wardrobe and leave it at Reception together with the completed form. You will find the laundry price list in the wardrobe. We will bring your clean laundry to your room within 24 hours. Your room account will be charged with the costs.

Charger

If you need a charger, please contact our reception staff (Tel. No. 9)

Cigarettes

Different sorts of cigarettes, you'll get in the centre of town or in the shopping center „Duga Mall“ Since 2009, the general ban for non-smoking in all public buildings in Croatia is valid.

Transfers

Please let us know on time of your arrival/departure arrangements by train or plane. We will gladly organize transfer from train station or airport to the hotel and back. Transfer costs:

  • Train station Rijeka:       € 40,00 one way
  • Airport „Rijeka“ on Krk:  € 35,00 one way

Tennis

The hotel offers two tennis courts free of charge (depending on availability) for our hotel guests. For reservations please contact Reception. Our tennis coach Dražen can be booked additional.

Taxi Service

We will gladly call a taxi for you. Please contact Reception.

Shoe cleaning machine

An automatic shoe polisher is  located on the ground floor direction to the north tower.

Keycard

Your keycard can be used to open your room door and also to open the parking gate. Please leave your Keycard at Reception when checking out.

Safe

Each room is equipped with a safe. Please read the instruction manual, located on the safe. We kindly ask you to lock your valuables always. The hotel is not responsible for any valuables kept in the room.

Repairs

Even though we regulary control every room, please report any malfunctions or repairs that need to be done in your room to Reception. Thank you in advance.

Parking Area

Our hotel has 3 unguarded open parking areas (right, left and opposite the hotel), free of charge for hotel guests. The barrier can be opened with your room card.

Minibar

Please note that all drinks and snacks stored in the Minibar, are not included in the price. Minibar will be daily controlled and filled up. When checking out we kindly ask you to present your minibar consumption during your stay at Reception.

Sun beds/umbrellas

At the hotel pool there are sun beds and umbrellas free at your disposal. Out of consideration for other hotel guests, please do not „reserve“ a sun bed when you are not at the pool. Our staff will release sun beds and collect pool towels. Thank you very much for your understanding.

Credit Cards

In our hotel you can pay with Visa-, Master- and Maestro Card. Please note that there may be bank charges.

Air conditioning

Every room is equipped with air conditioning, which has been set up automatically. If you open the window or balcony door, the air conditioning will shut off. If you wish to turn off the air conditioning, you may do so by turning the left switch to the position OFF. If you wish to turn it on again, turn the switch to the ON position. Please do not tamper with the other switches on the thermostat. If you need assistance, please contact the Reception (Tel. No. 9).

Internet

In the hotel lobby and in your room free WiFi is at your disposal.

Escape plans

Escape plans for the unlikely event of a fire or other emergencies are located in every room behind the room entrance door as well as in the hotel corridors. Escape routes are marked with green-white signs for visibility.
 
 

Hotel

Our hotel complex consists of the hotel Kvarner Palace with adjoining south and north tower (without elevator), the spa area with spa reception, finish sauna, steam room and heated loungers as well as the outdoor-pool area with tavern.

Voucher

Give a piece of happiness. Surprise your loved ones with a gift voucher of our house, a spa treatment or a catering voucher. You can get your desired voucher from our reception team.

Church

Holy Mass will be held in the church of the Blessed Virgin Mary at 8:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Hairdresser

Our staff at reception will gladly make an appointment for you at the hairdresser in the city.

Pets

The bringing of a dog is allowed (cleaning fee EUR 20 per day without food). We expressly point out that the stay is limited to the room. In the restaurant and bar, at Palace Beach, on the hotel terraces, at the beach, in the well-maintained hotel garden, at the pool and on the sunbathing lawns or in the wellness area, dogs are not allowed.

Fire

In case of fire, please close the door of the room and immediately contact Reception. If a fire alarm is activated, please leave the hotel using the emergency exits. In case of fire do not use the elevators. The floor plan is posted in every room  behind the room door as well as in the hotel halls. Emergency exits are labeled in green and white.

TV

A list of programs and a remote control device is located next to the television.

Electricity

220 Volt electricity is in use.

Payment

You may bill any extra services, such as drinks and beauty treatments to your room number. Please sign the receipt accordingly and put in your room number.

PLEASE, PAY ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING WHEN PAYING THE HOTEL INVOICE:

You are welcome to pay with Euro cash, Maestro card, and credit cards (VISA and MASTERCARD). Since January 1st, 2023, the national currency has been the Euro.

Shopping

Crikvenica has many small shops. Bigger shopping center „Duga Mall“ is  located in the entrance of Crikvenica. There you can find Konzum, Intersport, Deichman, jewelry store, exchange office and café. Near „Duga Mall“ there is a „Lidl“ store. On the way out of Crikvenica in direction Novi Vinodolski there is a new „Spar“ shop. Bigger shopping centers are located in Rijeka, 37 Km away.

Business Center

If you wish to organize a seminar or business meeting, we offer the use of our Conference room (size L 13,8 m x B 6,2 m) at your disposal. You can also book one of our seminar packages with seminar equipement as well as full service of catering, coffee breaks or business lunches.

„Do not disturb“ sign

Please put the „Do not disturb“ sign on the outside of your room door, if you do not wish to be disturbed. Please note that your room won't be cleaned if the sign remains hanging. If you want your room cleaned in a specific time, please contact the Reception.

Beach- and Pool towles

On you arrival you will have a beach bag with 2 yellow towels for the pool or the beach in your room. If you want to replace them, we kindly ask you to get in contact with your chamber maid or the SPA reception!

Bar

Our hotel bar (in the lobby near the reception) is daily at your disposal from 3:30 p.m.

Excursions

Our excursion-  and house events program is available at the Reception or on the Info-channel on your TV.

Gastronomy

Our restaurant with a  beautiful terrace in the ground floor is at your disposal for brekfast and dinner.

Buffet breakfast:                    7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Buffet dinner:                        6:00 p.m. –   9:30 p.m.

If you prefer to have breakfast in your room or on your balcony, please order at the reception (tel. no. 9).

Alcohol

Please be aware that we are not allowed to serve alcohol to persons under 18 years.

Massages/Spa and Wellness center

Our SPA Center is  open for you every day  from  9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.. For appointments please contact the staff at the SPA Reception (Tel Nr. 607).

If you are late on appointment in wellness, we will have to substract this time from the total duration of the treatment in order to avoid overlap with the next appointments.

If you are not able to reach an appointment, we will charge 50% for cancellation the day before und 100 % for cancellation the same day the appintment is made.

Our Wellness manager Mrs. Zrinka Mitar and hear team are at your disposal every day from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Indoor pool is open from   8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Sauna is open from          3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
 

Please keep in mind that the SPA is an area for rest and relaxation. Entrance to the sauna is allowed to persons older than 16 years. Sauna is a nudist area.

Reception

The Reception is at your disposal vom 0-24h and may be reached by dialing 9. The settlement of your invoice is available from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. To avoid waiting on the morning of your departure, it is possible to pay the bill the day before.

Telephone Service

You may use the telephone to make internal calls as well as national and international calls. To make an internal phone call, just dial the room number or  department number. For external line, please dial „8“ before desired number.  The cost of national and international calls is € 0,20 per unit.  If you are expecting a call, you can be reached on the number 00385 (0) 51 38 0 + your room number

ATM/Exchange office

The nearest ATM is located about 200 meters from the hotel towards the beach and in the city center.

The nearest exchange office you can find in „Duga Mall“ shooping mall or in the town's centre.

Do's & Dont's

Blaue Flagge

Die Blaue Flagge ist ein weltweit gültiges und anerkanntes Umweltzeichen, welches an Strände und Küsten aufgrund ihres Umweltmanagements, ihrer Wasserqualität etc. verliehen wird. Nur Strände, welche den hohen Standards entsprechen, erhalten dieses Zeichen und zeugen daher von ausgezeichneter Wasserqualität und Sauberkeit. Der Strand Vela Plaža von Baška auf der Insel Krk ist seit 1999 mit der blauen Flagge ausgezeichnet, auch der Strand Rupa, bei Malinska, überzeugt durch seine hohe Qualität und ist besonders bei Familien beliebt, da der Strand sehr flach ins Meer abfällt.

Verkehrsregeln

In Kroatien gelten gesonderte Regelungen für junge Lenker. Fahrer unter 25 Jahren müssen 10 km/h langsamer fahren als das erlaubte Höchstlimit. Außerorts gilt für sie daher ein Tempolimit von 80 statt 90 km/h, auf Schnellstraßen 100 statt 110 km/h und auf der Autobahn 120 statt 130 km/h. Diese Vorschrift gilt in der Regel zwar nur für kroatische Staatsbürger, dennoch sollten sich alle Junglenker daran halten. Das Fahren mit Licht am Tag unterliegt ebenso einer besonderen Vorschrift: vom letzten Sonntag im Oktober bis zum letzten Sonntag im März ist auf allen Straßen das Licht am Tag vorgeschrieben, sowohl außerhalb als auch innerhalb von Ortschaften. Für Motorradfahrer gilt eine ganzjährige Pflicht. Ein fixer Bestandteil des Reisegepäcks muss auch immer ein Ersatzlampenset sein. Dies gilt für Fahrzeuge mit Xenon- oder Neonleuchten, bei LED's nur für Brems und Blinkerleuchten. Für alle Radfahrbegeisterten unter 16 Jahren gilt zudem Helmpflicht.

Hunde am Strand

Hunde sind an den offiziellen Stränden in ganz Kroatien nicht gestattet, nichtsdestotrotz bieten sich aber zahlreiche ausgewiesene „Hundestrände“ bzw.
„Wilde Strände“ für einen Ausflug mit Hund an. Diese sind mit einer eigenen Flagge mit Hundeknochen gekennzeichnet. Zwar nicht offiziell erlaubt, aber in der Regel toleriert, sind Hunde an einsamen Buchten, den sogenannten „Wilden Stränden“ – die Toleranz und Sicherheit anderer Urlauber muss jedoch immer gegeben sein.

Auf der Insel Krk finden Sie beispielsweise in der Stadt Krk den offiziellen Hundestrand Redagara oder weiter südlich bei Baška, am westlichen Rande
vom Vela Plaža im Ortsteil Zarok.
